FAST RESPONSE SPECTRALLY FLAT PYRANOMETER
Very fast response time is ideal for solar Photovoltaic Power Plant monitoring.
The ER09 series pyranometer features an innovative design of detector with very low zero off-set and fast thermopile response to give reduced measurement uncertainty in comparison to conventional pyranometer designs that use an exposed blackened thermopile. The detector incorporates a cosine-corrected entrance aperture, a compact integrating cavity, and an encapsulated thermopile with a Field-Of-View restricted to the cavity.
The Middleton Solar ER09 exceeds the ISO 9060:2018 specifications for a Fast Response Spectrally Flat Pyranometer of Class B or Class A. The ER09-AE version has an in-built precision amplifier with a millivolt output for easy signal measurement. The ER09-AI version has the amplifier configured for 4-20mA output.
The ER09 is available with a 12VDC 3W internal heater to combat dew formation on the glass dome, or to melt snow deposition. The heater does not compromise the zero off-set performance.

ALMOST NO ZERO OFF-SET - VERY FAST RESPONSE
Reduced Measurement uncertainty because hidden off-sets are insignificant.
Single glass dome gives lower directional error than conventional double dome design.
Cable has connector at instrument end.
